I'M ON A MISSION TO HELP YOU

LOOK AND FEEL
YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST
finding the right outfit for your shoot. By no means am I saying that I am fashion expert (I get most of my clothing ideas from my stylish roommate!) However - I have learned over the years what looks best in photos. Don't worry, these aren't rules - just a few suggestions to help the planning process go a bit smoother! Enjoy!
Trust me, I know how hard it can be to put together an outfit on any given day. So choosing clothes for a photoshoot... man it can be tough. I want our experience working together to be fun, easy, and confidence boosting! My ultimate goal as your photographer is to help you be your most beautiful and true self! I believe the first step towards achieving this is

COLORS
Neutral/muted colors tend to look best on
camera! That doesn't mean you have to wear
white or gray. For example - choose chambray
over turquoise, or burnt orange over orange.
Stay away from bright pinks and reds!

PATTERNS
Solids are my favorite !! If you opt to wear a pattern I recommend smaller, more subtle
ones. Avoid big, crazy patterns that will most
likely distract from your beautiful face!

ACCESSORIES
I love when people bring hats or scarves to their session! It's so fun to add them to different outfits and get multiple vibes. Leave your Apple Watch/ Fitbit at home. I promise you that they won't be missed!

01.

HAIR
I love when my clients get their hair done!
I think a professional touch can really perfect any vibe you are going for! Ladies, you can tell your man to get their hair cut about three to four days before the shoot. Shaving can be done the night before, or
the day of. Let them decide!
02.
MAKEUP
This one is up to you. I say do what makes you feel like your most fabulous, but comfortable self! If you don't usually wear makeup then maybe getting all glammed up isn't the right vibe for you. If makeup is your thing and you want an expert to help you out let me know and I can send over some recommendations!
03.
TANNING

If you're a walking ghost like me and feel your best after using self tanner - I say go for it! My favorite products are Bondi Sands and Loving Tan. I recommend tanning two days before your session. Be careful not to put too much on your hands (we don't want them looking cray in up close photos!)
04.
PROPS
Props don't have to be cheesy! I honestly love when people bring items that mean something to them. If you want to include props in your photoshoot just let me know and I will find a way to incorporate them in a unique, non-cheesy way!
