Lauren and Ty’s late summer wedding at The Grand Lady Austin was a stunning celebration. The day was a tapestry of vibrant colors that seamlessly transitioned from summer into the warm hues of fall. I loved getting to capture their special day and help them preserve moments they’ll never forget.
The Grand Lady Austin: A Venue of Elegance and Charm
The Grand Lady, with its rich history and stunning architecture, served as the backdrop for a day that was as unique as it was beautiful. The house was built in 1881 and served as the perfect place for Ty and Lauren to exchange vows. One exceptional detail that sets The Grand Lady Austin apart is that it has its very own sustainable farm. The farm provided the magnificent blooms for the wedding which set the tone for the whole day.

Timeless Bridal Look
Lauren was the epitome of grace in her form-fitting off-the-shoulder gown. She carried a boho bouquet full of burgundy, cream, and orange flowers which complimented her dress perfectly. Before the ceremony, we were able to get some stunning photos of the bride and groom separately around The Grand Lady. The home has a ton of historic details which I loved being able to feature in their photos.

Late Summer Ceremony
The ceremony was nothing short of enchanting, with a lush floral arch adorned with an array of cream, orange, and burgundy blossoms. The outdoor ceremony space was a dream to photograph especially with the various textures of the floral arch. Lauren and Ty’s decision not to have a first look allowed us to capture the raw emotion and unfiltered joy of their first glimpse of each other during the ceremony. It was a such a heartwarming moment! One great feature of The Grand Lady is the balcony overlooking the ceremony site which allowed us to capture a unique perspective of the ceremony and the couple’s exit.

Vibrant Wedding Party Photos
The Grand Lady’s sprawling grounds provided an array of unique locations for the wedding party photos which included both indoor and outdoor spots. The eclectic array of bridesmaid dresses added depth and character to the wedding party photos. I loved seeing how the various colors of the bridesmaids’ dresses popped when paired with the groomsmens’ black suits.

Romantic Couple’s Portraits
One of the most cherished moments of the day was capturing couple’s portraits with Lauren and Ty, both indoors and amidst the beauty of The Grand Lady’s surroundings. The couple looked absolutely timeless amongst the historic details of the home. I also loved getting to capture them outdoors, surrounded by the late summer foliage. The photos clearly show how much these two love each other!

Boho Eclectic Elegance
For the reception, the couple carried the late summer color palette into the space which was enhanced by green tablecloths along with cream, orange, and burgundy accents. The color palette along with the boho details added warmth and character to the celebration, creating an inviting atmosphere that encouraged everyone to embrace the love and joy in the air. The reception was a lively affair, marked by beautiful speeches, a lot of dancing, and late-night snacks.

Lauren and Ty’s wedding at The Grand Lady Austin was a celebration of vibrant colors, raw emotions, and timeless love. It was an absolute honor to be part of their special day, and I am thrilled to share the love and beauty that filled every corner of The Grand Lady.
