These two college sweethearts threw the best party to celebrate their love! Sarah and Wade both grew up in Oregon and decided to make the move to Austin in October of 2020. They love to travel and explore new places together and this was a great next step in their adventure together. Throughout their entire fall wedding day, you could see their personalities shine and witness how relaxed they were as they celebrated with their family and friends. It also helps that Jade and Onyx was there to keep the day running so smoothly!
Why did they choose Canyonwood Ridge?
Both being from Oregon, they chose Canyonwood Ridge for their wedding because they loved the beautiful hill country views and were excited for all their family and friends to see this part of Texas! With a large portion of their guests traveling from Oregon, it was a great introduction to their new adventure. It was a really special weekend seeing them all reunited!
Sunset Portraits as Husband & Wife
There is nothing like a Texas fall wedding when the weather decides to cooperate. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous and the sunset in the sky afterwards was the best! It made for the perfect first pictures as husband and wife.
First Dance as Mr. & Mrs. Ransom
Their first dance goes down as one of my favorites! Wade kept lifting Sarah up and spinning her around. He did it so effortlessly and you could see the joy on their faces during the entire dance!
S’Mores Bar for a Late Night Treat
Their food for the night included fajitas, margaritas and a s’mores bar – all very Texan! The s’mores bar was a hit and had everyone coming back throughout the night to make another.
A Fun Filled Dance Floor
The real fun started once the dance floor opened up. Wade comes from a huge family and his nieces and nephews were on the dance floor all night – it was so cute! Wade is also quite the dancer as he showed during their first dance and it was so sweet to see him bring out Sarah from her shy personality on the dance floor! Plus, a bubble gun had a bit to do with the fun.
