Four Seasons Austin Wedding | Mary Virginia + Connor

Mary Virginia and Connor’s wedding at the Four Seasons Austin was such a sweet day celebrating their love. They incorporated many personal elements throughout the day that I loved getting to capture. And they wrapped the night up by dancing away to their amazing band and a surprise sparkler exit in a vintage red convertible.

Tented Outdoor Ceremony

The courtyard area of the Four Seasons Austin was the perfect spot for their outdoor ceremony and was beautifully adorned with a white tent, florals and string flights. It the set the stage for a classic ceremony spot while keeping guests shaded from the Texas sun.

Personal Elements

The personal elements added throughout their wedding day were so sweet and special to them. I love when my couples take the time in the planning process to do this because it is what sets weddings apart from each other! Mary Virigina and Connor had a few throughout their reception including:

  • Espresso martinis as a specialty drink from the bar
  • Austin themed candle favors
  • Their dog included on their cake
  • Breakfast tacos served at the end of the night

Dancing the Night Away

One of my favorite moments of the night is when my couples feel like they can finally let loose and enjoy themselves. And this most often happens when the dance floor opens up. They’ve made it through the ceremony, said hello to all of their guests and now it’s just time to have fun! Mary Virginia and Connor had Blind Date Austin as the band for their reception and it was such a great time! They kept the dance floor packed and everyone had a blast with the props provided.

A Sparkler Surprise

To round out the night, the newlyweds rode away in a vintage red convertible. And as their last wedding day surprise, were surrounded by sparklers as the drove off. It was so sweet to see the joy from this last touch!
