Shea and Alex’s fall wedding was a gorgeous day and a moment where life came full circle for me! Shea was my first manager at my first ever big girl job and has always supported my photography business since the day I branched out on my own. It was such an honor to capture such a special moment for her and her husband, Alex!
Their love story began while working out at a gym in Austin. Their first date was a yoga class and the rest was history. It was such a treat to be involved in their wedding and watch this magical day come to life after all the planning.
Getting Ready at Two Wishes Ranch Events
First looks, happy tears and a super fun group of people to hang out with made up the time spent pre-ceremony. Watching Shea and her parents during the first look was such a touching moment and really showed off the love that went into this day.
Wedding Day Details
Two Wishes Ranch Events in Lockhart was the perfect setting for this October wedding. The strung lights over the ceremony space, gorgeous views and black barn brought the entire day together perfectly.
A special addition to the ceremony was Shea and Alex’s dog Lulu. They always knew she would be part of their wedding one day. I mean look at how cute she is in her floral collar!
A big priority for both Shea and Alex when planning their wedding day was the food. They LOVE food and wanted to make sure what was served was unique to them as a couple. The evening started off with amazing taco bar. Dessert was a cake and tiny pies. Then the night ended perfectly with late night breakfast tacos before the very end of the night!
One thing we bonded over during their planning process was their love for Topo Chico (I’m obsessed!) and I loved the way they incorporated empty Topo Chico bottles into their floral decor. The Topo Chico accents paired with the signs they had adorning different areas of the reception were the perfect touches to their fall wedding day.
Outdoor October Wedding Ceremony
Their families are absolutely incredible and the love they had for Shea and Alex showed throughout the entire wedding day. The first look with Shea’s parents was full of lots tears and there wasn’t a dry eye around as Shea walked down the aisle with her mom and dad – including Alex as he watched his beautiful bride walk his way!
Reception at Two Wishes Ranch Events with a Late Night Snack
Who doesn’t love a late night snack? With good food being a big priority for Shea and Alex, they knew they would want something fun to end their reception! And what’s better than breakfast tacos?
