Sometimes I can’t believe that I get to photograph weddings at such stunning locations such as this beautiful destination wedding! Madeline and Adam’s destination Colorado wedding was truly a dream come true. Set amidst the beautiful backdrop of Green Mountain Falls, a picturesque town just outside Colorado Springs, this destination wedding featured breathtaking mountain views during the ceremony and the prettiest reception that turned into an all-night dance party. I loved getting to share in this couple’s special day and capture their love for them in Colorado!
Texas Meets Colorado: A Destination Delight
Madeline and Adam dreamed of a destination wedding and decided that Colorado would be a fun destination for their Texas family and friends to visit. When choosing a location, Madeline was drawn to the Colorado Springs area. Her mother spent her childhood vacationing in the area, so Madeline’s connection to the charming town of Green Mountain Falls runs deep. Madeline also vacationed there as she grew up, so she decided to get ready for her big day in the very same cabin where her family had spent so much time. The nostalgia and sentimental value of this location made the day all the more special.

A Ceremony with a View
For their destination Colorado wedding, the couple exchanged vows on private land just outside of town, and the scenery was nothing short of breathtaking. The sweeping views of the Colorado landscape were the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony. They wanted guests to fully enjoy the views, so they adorned their ceremony altar with baskets overflowing with whimsical floral arrangements to compliment the beautiful scenery.

Capturing Love on the Mountain
Following the ceremony, we seized the opportunity to capture the couple’s love against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The mountaintop photos were nothing short of magical, with Madeline and Adam radiating happiness and love.

From Mountain Views to A Floral Wonderland
The reception took place at the town’s community center, which was transformed by the couple’s talented planner and florists. Madeline loved the look of colorful and eclectic flowers, so her florist placed several small arrangements on the tables and larger arrangements above the tables to create an enchanting feel. Madeline also loves gingham so the pattern was woven into several details, from the linens to the draping, which added a fun touch to the celebration.

Music and Memories
As the sun dipped below the mountains, the reception came alive with music played by an incredible band. The couple provided a variety of wedding props which all the guests embraced wholeheartedly. Everyone danced the night away, creating cherished memories that will be remembered forever.
